This is the whale/sail day.
We bought milk for porridge.
We went to the beach to check out the surf and met Libby and Recia and planned for tomorrow’s fish dinner.
Robert decided not to go whale watching because he didn’t want to throw up all over the people.
Milla and Sue and 33 others headed for the marina in La Cruz where their journey was to begin. All aboard on the 50 foot tri-maran and out into Banderas Bay where whales come from the north Pacific each year to give birth. A mother and a calf were followed around for two hours while the kids hung off the masts and the adults ate and drank. At one point, the captain anchored in a secluded cove because his two dachsuns needed to get to the beach for a pee. Nicole, the lady who organized the sail from EntreAmigos, presented everyone with a delicious lunch.
Meanwhile back in San Pancho, Rob spent the day at the beach by himself looking for treasures.
When Milla and Sue returned to Casa T. at 7 p.m., Rob had a gourmet meal waiting... chicken, beets, roasted potatoes and fresh salad.
Everyone turned in early. Kathy and Bill from Alberta arrive tomorrow.
